Julián Gamoneda

(1900-fecha desconocida)

In 1939, the Popular Front published prints by Julián Gamoneda (1900–date unknown) of a similar size to Castelao's. In them, he portrayed gruesome wartime executions and refugees in concentration camps. Likewise, the Popular Front and España Libre published reprints of Julián Gamoneda's book Guerra al fascismo (War on Fascism, Mexico, 1939). Under the pseudonym "Yo," he feminized Franco and the Falangists with the intention of denigrating them.
